The pre-requisites for attending this course are :
– A basic ability to read Quran (even if your recitation is at a beginners level)
– Dedication and diligence
– A positive mindset
– Ability to attend class from Monday to Thursday from 8:30am to 12:00

Core course objectives



– ENABLE a student with no Arabic background top develop a meaningful connection with the Quran by being able to understand it as it is being read directly in the Arabic language
– DEVELOP and strengthen the connection between ourselves and our creator
– EQUIP the student with a working knowledge of the fundamentals of the Arabic language with the ability to start navigating basic Arabic text
– INSTILL within our students the yearning to implement the Quran by becoming a positive change agent within the community
– COMPLETE a full coverage of the Quran during the year, highlighting practical life lessons
– FACILITATE an open and comfortable relationship between teacher and student
– PROVIDE a space for healthy socialisation and team building with peers

OVERVIEW

Arabic literacy phase (Jan-Feb)

– Working with Arabic reader and improving basic fluency
– Formulating language patterns and building a vocabulary library
– Discovering the Arabic language in a practical way
– Ensuring the student acquires a working knowledge of grammar and morphology with formal rules introduced later in the year
– Introducing Quran study and personal development modules

Arabic foundation phase (Mar – Jun)

– Working with Arabic reader and improving basic fluency
– Formulating language patterns and building a vocabulary library
– Discovering the Arabic language in a practical way
– Ensuring the student acquires a working knowledge of grammar and morphology with formal rules
– Quran study and personal development modules are introduced
– Extraction of life lessons from the Quran to facilitate introspection
– Exploration of certain contemporary discussions
– Practical applications of grammar and morphology in the Quran

Quran Intensive (July-Nov)

– Quran pace increased to facilitate full coverage of word and word translation

COURSE FEES

Course fees contribute towards the financial stability of the institution and assist with delivering a high quality learning experience.
Fees can be paid as a cash payment to the administration or as a Bank EFT 

1); FULL TIME QURAN FOCUS (hybrid Mon & wed online, Tue & Thur physical classroom)
Duration 1 year
Days: Mon, Tues, Wed, Thursday

Registration R500 includes textbooks+ R12000 pa  or R1200 x 10 months 

2A): PART TIME QURAN FOCUS  physical classroom
Duration 2 years
Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Fees: R6000 per annum, or R600 pm x10, R 500 registration (includes text books)

2B): PART TIME QURAN FOCUS ONLINE (with monthly or bi monthly meet ups**)
Duration 2 years
Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Fees: R6000 per annum, or R600 pm x10, + R 500 registration (includes text books)

Saturdays:

R500 registration+ R3000 per annum or R300 PM X10

** Only if you reside in Gauteng.
